From Medima's German ateliers to our own supply chain in Istanbul and Stuttgart — every partner held to the same standard.

How It Started

  • The Idea

    Sam had spent his career in technology, scaling digital products to millions of users. Orhun had spent his in apparel manufacturing — and it was there, through a prior connection to Medima, a German heritage angora house, that the idea for Silverlyne actually began.

  • The Partnership

    Medima had been making angora wool the deliberate, uncompromising way since long before “sustainable” was a word on a hangtag. Becoming their exclusive US distributor wasn't so much a business plan as an obvious next step.

  • Silverlyne Launches

    Angora led to cashmere, silk, modal, cotton, and Tencel — each chosen for what it does against skin, not because it's trending. Silverlyne opened for business, built on the same rule the brothers grew up on.

Always Skin-safe
Natural fiber as the majority, always — angora, cashmere, silk, modal, cotton, Tencel. Caregora-certified. OEKO-TEX certified. When we do use elastane for stretch, it's a small share, and always the least-toxic option available.

Durable, not disposable. Every partner we work with is held to strict environmental and safety standards, in a supply chain that runs from workshops in Istanbul to ateliers in Stuttgart.
