Text describing features of The 30,000 ft Set with icons on a white background

This is for the woman who:

  • Flies six or more times a year and dreads the cabin temperature roulette
  • Has tried Heattech, Cuddl Duds, and three cardigans — and is still cold
  • Is in perimenopause, and her thermostat has a mind of its own
  • Refuses to look bulky, frumpy, or "dressed for the weather"
  • Wants one piece that disappears under everything she already owns

If you nodded at three of these — keep reading.

Most "warm layers" weren't built for your life.

Synthetic base layers were designed for ski slopes — not boardrooms. They trap sweat, irritate sensitive skin, and look exactly like what they are: cheap polyester under your silk blouse.

Cardigans add visible bulk under a tailored blazer. Pashminas give you something to hold, not warmth where you actually need it. And "thermal" tops marketed to women in their 40s and 50s are usually just heavier versions of clothes designed for 25-year-olds.

Meanwhile, your body is doing something new. Cold rooms hit harder. Hot flashes show up uninvited. Your wardrobe — the one that worked for fifteen years — suddenly doesn't.

You don't need more clothes. You need one thing that quietly handles all of it.

Where it comes from

Angora and Wool back warmers - Fabric detail

The Science: Why Caregora™ Angora outperforms what's in your drawer.

Angora fibers are hollow. Each strand is a microscopic tube that traps still air — the most effective natural insulator on earth. That's why a Caregora™-certified Angora layer delivers up to 40% more insulation than wool of the same weight, with a fraction of the thickness.

Both pieces use the same trusted blend Medima has refined for over a century: Angora paired with premium wool for plush warmth, with a small amount of polyacryl engineered for shape retention through repeated wear and washing. The Top gives you a featherweight upper layer that won't sag after a 14-hour flight; the Pants give you the same plush insulation from waist to ankle.

The result is a system that warms you when you're cold, breathes when you flush, and stays soft against sensitive skin — wash after wash, year after year.

Wear it on one flight. If it doesn't change how you travel, send it back.

Take the set on one round-trip flight. Wear it through the cabin, the layover, the hotel, the meeting, the dinner. If you're not warmer, calmer, and less bulky than every layering option you've tried — return it within 14 days. Worn, washed, whatever.

That's how confident we are this is the last layer you'll pack. We don't ask you to keep it in the package. We ask you to use it.

What she's saying.

"I recently came back from a work trip and wore this shirt for my 8-hour flight. Definitely the softest shirt I've purchased in a long time. Thin but sturdy, and very breathable. Would buy again."
Gabby L, 45 [Lawyer]
"[...] great when you need a little extra warmth while commuting but do not want to be too hot when you arrive at an indoor destination."
PC, 51 [Teacher]

What women ask before they buy.

Will it really fit under a tailored blazer without showing?

Yes. The Angora & Wool Top is engineered as a true base layer — designed to layer invisibly under silk, cotton, and wool blouses. Customers regularly report it disappearing under fitted suiting and structured knits.

I'm in perimenopause and run hot and cold. Is this for me?

Especially for you. Angora's hollow fibers regulate temperature in both directions — they trap heat when you're cold and wick moisture when you flush. Many of our customers come to us specifically through the perimenopause angle, where standard base layers either overheat or itch.

Why does the fabric include polyamide and polyacryl? I thought this was natural fiber.

Both pieces are 65% natural fiber (45% premium wool + 20% Angora) blended with 35% polyacryl. That small synthetic percentage is what gives the pieces their shape retention and durability — without it, Angora alone pills and stretches out within weeks. This is the same blend Medima has refined over 100 years of production. We're committed to honesty about composition, not marketing claims about '100% natural' that fall apart in your washing machine.

Will it pill or shrink?

Not if you follow the Lifetime Care Ritual (included free). Machine wash on delicate cycle in cold water, lay flat to dry. Customers who do this report no pilling and no shape loss after multiple seasons of wear.

What if it doesn't fit?

Easy returns within 14 days. Email us and we'll guide you through exchange or refund. Sizes run S to XL — see our size chart for detailed measurements before you order.

Is the Angora ethically sourced?

Yes — and we're public about exactly how. Both pieces use Caregora™-certified Angora, the first certified and responsibly sourced Angora fiber developed by NATURFASERN. Caregora™ is produced under European and British animal welfare standards and SGS-verified for transparency. Our manufacturing partner Medima has used Caregora™ exclusively for all premium products for over a century.
